Our performing arts program is frequently invited to perform at Walt Disney World, providing students with unique opportunities to showcase their talents. Since opening our doors in August 2006, we have proudly served families from Trinity, New Port Richey, Port Richey, Holiday, Hudson, Odessa, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, and Spring Hill.

Our curriculum is aligned with Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards and is designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation while encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving. We utilize HMH Into Reading and Into Literature, HMH Into Math, HMH Social Studies, and HMH Florida Science for Kindergarten through 8th grade science.
Athenian Academy utilizes Kagan Cooperative Learning to ensure every student is actively engaged in the learning process. Through Kagan Structures, students learn how to collaborate effectively with their peers while maintaining individual accountability for their own learning. All teachers at Athenian Academy participate in extensive ongoing Kagan Cooperative Learning training to ensure the highest level of implementation and student engagement.
